IITTS announces two new courses in L.A. Archdiocese
"Sanctions and the Penal Process in the Church," will be taught by civil and canon lawyer Robert J. Flummerfelt, from Feb. 13-15. "The Rights and Obligations of Christ's Faithful," taught by Lynette Tait of the Cleveland Tribunal, will take place Feb. 15-17.

HAITI EARTHQUAKE: How to Respond...from Most Reverend Alexander Salazar
Situation: A 7.0 magnitude earthquake has ravaged the island nation of Haiti. The quake occurred 10 miles southwest of the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince just before 5pm EST (Haiti is also on EST). Port-au-Prince, with a population of over 2 million, has been devastated.
There are recently confirmed reports that the Archbishop of Port-au-Prince, Monsignor Joseph Serge Miot, was a victim of the quake as well as 100 priests. The Cathedral of Notre Dame in Port-au-Prince has sustained severe damage.
USCCB Materials on Health Care Reform
The USCCB has issued a memo and some collateral material, including a bulletin insert, to be used in parish bulletins.
